[edit] What can I write about in an article?
You can write about anything that is factual, as long as you take a neutral position.
[edit] What do you mean by factual?
Think encyclopaedia not magazine.
[edit] What do you mean by neutral?
Being neutral is all about balance. The best way to remain neutral is to think about what someone else write about the subject. You shouldn't ever need to write 'I' or 'we', and If you include opinions make sure they are balanced by other views.
[edit] Can I write about projects, products and services?
Yes you can, but make sure your article stays factual and neutral.
[edit] Is self-promotion allowed?
Not in articles no, but it is allowed in your 'page about me' (your profile page).
You can link your articles to your profile by inserting your signature at the bottom of your article. Just move the cursor to the bottom of the article (before any references) and click the insert signature button.
You can be as self promotional as you like on your page about me, including adding links to your own website.
You should only include links to other websites in articles where they connect to genuinely factual information, not to promotional information.
